Harvey James Field age 91 of Delano.

Harvey was born January 9, 1928 in Madison, Wisconsin to Edward and Ruth (O’Donnell) Field.   He grew up and attended high school in Rice Lake, WI.  Harvey served in the United States Army and was stationed in Occupied Japan.  Post service, he attended the MN School of Business.

On June 5, 1954, he was joined in marriage to Mary Stafford

at St. Anthony’s Parish in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  God blessed their marriage with nine children.  They resided in Minneapolis and eventually moved to Delano

Harvey was an award winning Service Manager at Anderson Cadillac in Golden Valley for 39 years.   He was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.  Harvey enjoyed spending time with his family at the cabin, cooking, and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.  Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Field, parents Edward and Ruth Field, brother John Field; In-laws George and Magdalen Stafford; Brothers-in-law Patrick Stafford, Father Michael Stafford, John Stafford and Robert Benolken; daughter-in-law Paula Field; grandchildren Magdalen Sutherland and Eric Sutherland Brush.  Survived by his children Mike (Cheryl), Mary Jo (Dan) Graunke, Mark (Debbie), Tim (Kris), James (Diane), Margaret (Jon) Sutherland, Jean (Eric) Carlson, Bill (Sherri), Tom (Tracy); 28 grandchildren:  Dan Field, Shelly (Erik) Peterson, Sarah (Joey) Sinkel, Caroline Field, David Field, Rob Field, Adam (Faye) Field, Brian Field, Allison Field, Darrick (Heather) Graunke , Jaime (Joe) Geyen, Chad (Jen) Weinzierl, Brad (Jami) Weinzierl, Kelsey Field,  Anna Field, Kyan Kiel, Isaac Kiel, Stafford(Cady) Carlson, Emily (Tommy) Strafelda, Kristen Carlson, Cameron, Amelia and Keenan Sutherland, Dillon and Hannah Field, Ethan, Mason, Haden Field; 16 great grandchildren:  Tyler and Brayden Graunke, Quinne, Riley, Dru, Jaden, Kye, Cole Weinzierl, Evan, Savannah, Maci Geyen, Alexandra, Cody and Casey Peterson, Rowan Sinkel and Kylian Field, brother-in-law Paul Stafford; sisters-in-law Lucretia Benolken and Dorie Stafford and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial was 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 21st at St. Peter Catholic Church, Delano.  Visitation was 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20th, Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church.  Visitation continued 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at Martha’s Hall prior to Mass. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Delano, MN.  Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
