Bunting, Herbert J. age 89 of Maple Plain, passed away peacefully on Sept. 1, 2022. Herb was born in Maple Plain, MN, oldest son to James and Cora Bunting. He graduated from Mound High School in 1951. He married his sweetheart and classmate, Priscilla Higus, in 1952.

Herb built a thriving dry-cleaning business in the Lake Minnetonka area. He loved to garden and share his produce with his many customers. Church attendance, visiting with friends/family and caring for animals were his passion.

Preceded in death by wife, Priscilla. Survived by son, Steven; son, Larry (Dorothy); daughter, Anita (Mike) Hooper; grandchildren, Steven, Brooke (Brian) Antl, Genevieve (Jacob) Middagh and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Eithian (Edwards), Bricen, Preston, Logan (Nygaard), Parker (Antl), Henley, McKinley, Brynley and Oakley (due Dec.) (Middagh); brothers, Norman, Gerald and Bruce (Patricia); sisters Barbara (Peter) Niesen and Sandra Bartick; many nieces & nephews.

Memorial Service was on Saturday, September 17th, 11am, at Village Free Church, 5725 County Road 11 in Maple Plain. Visitation was one hour prior to service, and a luncheon followed. Interment Lewis Cemetery in Maple Plain. Memorials to Village Free Church or donor’s choice.
