Irene J. Salveson, age 78 of Watertown, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. She was born on June 22, 1937 in Lake Mills, Iowa to Isaac and Mary (O’Rourke) Jackson.

Irene was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Crawford Lake. She was a great mother; loved her family, music and baking.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Clayton, son Michael, parents and brother Robert Jackson. She is survived by her children Janice (John) Monahan, David Salveson, Richard (Maria) Salveson; 10 grandchildren Jeremy Monahan, Jacob (Cassie) Salveson, Julie Monahan (special friend Justin Bren), Angela (Joe) Rask, Bradley (Traci) Salveson, Jordan Salveson, Ryan Salveson (special friend Brooke Williams), Corey Salveson (special friend Madison Day), Christopher Salveson, Kevin Salveson; 6 great grandchildren Jayce, Connor, Jayden, Aubree, Rose, Paisley; sister Gilma Richter.

Memorial Service were held at 11 am, Friday, May 6, 2016 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Montrose. Gathering of family and friends was from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church.
