James Henry Stello, age 68 of Watertown passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. He was born on November 16, 1948 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to George and Florence (Mikkelson) Stello.

Jim proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Nancy Berry on November 27, 1985 in Newport, Minnesota. He was a member of the American Legion.

Jim was loyal and a very hard worker. He loved spending time with his grandsons, even watching cartoons. He would do anything for his children. Jim loved music, especially Elvis and music from the ‘50s. He faithfully watched professional wrestling every week. Jim’s favorites were Pepsi, Snickers and M&Ms.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Judy Weiland and Patti (Bob) Melko; brother David. He is survived by his wife Nancy; children Linda, Christina, Ryan and Justin (Gabe); grandsons Andrew, Aaron, Weston, Aiden and Abel; sisters Nancy (Jim) Swezey and Carol (Jim) Michon; brother-in-law Kenny Weiland and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service was 11 AM on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown. A Gathering of family and friends was from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the church. Inurnment with Military Honors at a later date will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
