James (Jim) Bellingham

James “Jim” Bellingham, age 52 of Maple Plain, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born in Duluth on June 5, 1965 to Charles and Mary (Sutter) Bellingham. He attended school in Orono and then North Hennepin Technical School.

Jim worked at a variety of locations over the years, including MPFC in Maple Plain and Functional Industries in Buffalo. He was a member of Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #9601.

Jim enjoyed the bi-weekly “Circle of Friends” get-togethers. He loved fishing, playing poker with the KC’s, golf, bowling and was an all-around sports lover, especially hockey. Jim was the namesake of the famous race horse, Jim B.

Jim was preceded in death by his father Chuck. He is survived by his mother Mary; siblings Robert (Kelly), Mark, John (Debbie), Janet (James); 6 nieces and nephews Chelsea, Trent, Conor, Zoe, Elliot, Oskar.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto. Visitation was Wednesday 4-8 PM with a 7 PM Prayer Service at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano. Visitation continued on Thursday 10-11 AM prior to the Mass at the church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
