James Lee Herzog, “Jim” age 84 of Delano passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. He was born June 30, 1931 to Max and Elsie (Oberle) Herzog in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Jim was a lifelong sales rep for O’Bryan Bros. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus since 1951. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was group leader for pilgrims to Medjugorje for 15+ years.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife Bernadine (Mallak) “Bernie” and a daughter-in-law Karla Herzog. He is survived by his children: Jim Herzog, John Herzog, Joe (Connie) Herzog, Julie (CJ) Gonsior, Jacquie Burr, and Judie (Bob) Crawford; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Gerald Herzog and many relatives and friends

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Visitation was from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to Mass in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter’s on Wednesday. A Knights of Columbus rosary was said at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment with military honors was in the Calvary Cemetery, Delano, Minnesota.
