James R. Shoberg, “Red” age 57 of Rockford, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. He was born December 10, 1954 to William and Norma (Burnquist) Shoberg in Excelsior, Minnesota.

Jim was Preceded in death by his parents, William (“Bill”) and Norma Shoberg; his half-sister Carol, “Corky”.

Jim worked at Variety Machines in Plymouth for 24 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend – he will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Chris Lee; granddaughters, Lainey and Bani Lee; brother, Mike; half-sister, Sandy; and many more family and friends.

A memorial gathering was held on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. with an 8 p.m. service at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, Minnesota.
