James W. Agnew

James William Agnew passed away peacefully from a long illness on August 8, 2020.

James was born June 28, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa. He later migrated from Iowa to South Minneapolis with his parents in 1954 and lived out his life in the Twin Cities area. The last years of his life was spent in the Communities around Lake Minnetonka, ending up in Watertown, MN.

James graduated from Washburn High School and attended Normandale College and the University of Minnesota. He was a Machinist and Materials Specialist, and loved to fish, hunt, and travel.

James was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jane Ann and Lloyd “Bud” Dewayne Agnew. He is survived by his only next of kin, his devoted younger brother, Michael Wayne Agnew and wife Sheri Agnew; loving mate of 28 years, Catherine Marzulli; aunt and uncles, William Agnew, and Bette & Byron Vanier; cousins, Trish Agnew Fodor, John Agnew, Gregg Vanier, and Scott Vanier; and special cat Gabby.
