Jane Marie Giese age 71 of Delano passed away from cancer on Friday, August 06, 2010 at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska, Minnesota. She was born July 2, 1939 to Armand and Helen (Adickes) Matter in Watertown, Minnesota.

Jane was united in marriage to Kenneth N. Giese on October 31, 1957 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano by Rev. M.J. Lenz.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; father Armand Matter; siblings Janet Krause, Armand Matter Jr. “Butch”, and Sharon Stoneburner.

She is survived by her children Lisa and Tim Van Beusekom, Luanne Giese, Niel and Carrie Giese; 5 grandchildren Evan, Kendra, Cole, Reba, Justin; mother Helen Matter; siblings Carol Mortensen, David and Linda Matter, Carmen Farniok, Dennis Matter, Judy Matter.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 12 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Watertown, Minnesota.
