Jean Baldy, age 90 of Delano, died December 13, 2024. She was born on September 11, 1934, in Delano, the daughter of Walter and Mayme (Gallus) Baumgarten.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. A visitation will be held prior from 9-11 AM, with an 8:45 AM rosary service, all at the church. Interment in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Delano, Minnesota.

Jean married Tony Baldy on May 5^th, 1953, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband Tony, son Brian, and great-grandson Conner; her parents Walter Baumgarten and Mayme Reich; stepfather John Reich; and two infant brothers; brother and sisters-in-law Leo and Delores Baldy, George and Lorraine Plotnik, Joseph Rosch, Jim and Gert Fish, George Baldy, Bill Griffin, and Lavern and Don Ross.

She is survived  by her children Daniel Baldy of Willmar, Craig (Evon) Baldy of Maple Plain, and Brenda (Tony) Rohrer of Delano; grandchildren Crissy (Eric) Wassermann, Bob Baldy, Lynn (Special friend Dave Hecksel) Baldy, Jen (Greg) Hallman, Paul (Jessica) Muckenhirn, Kalin Rohrer, and Kristyn (Chris) Zwart; great-grandchildren Rachel, Kelly, Abby, and Brooke Wassermann, Jayde and Macy Hallman, Layla, Ava, and Hendrix Zwart, Blake and Savannah Baldy, and Rigley Muckenhirn; sisters-in-law Jeanne Baldy, Delores Griffin, Regina Rosch, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
