Julie I. Neddermeyer (Schumacher)

Julie I. Neddermeyer, age 77 of Plymouth, formerly of Delano, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2021 with her boys by her side. She was born in Watertown on August 1, 1943 to Arthur and Julia (Schmidt) Schumacher.

Julie loved Minnesota sports, especially the Twins. Her radio dial was always set to KFAN. She enjoyed reading, being outdoors, and family was especially important to her.

Julie is survived by sons Steven (Diane), Richard (Theresa), Gregory, and Michael (Sheri); 7 grandchildren Tami (Kelvin) Johnson, Aden Neddermeyer, Steven Neddermeyer, James (Shaina) Neddermeyer, Olivia Neddermeyer (fiancé Ronnie), Julia Neddermeyer, and Abigail Neddermeyer; great grandson Charles Johnson; siblings Don (Bev) Schumacher, Rose (Paul) Grengs, Alicia (David) Smith, and Luella Sheridan; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Julie was preceded in death by infant son Arthur Francis; granddaughter Emmy Lu; parents Arthur and Julia Schumacher; brothers Richard Schumacher, Ralph Schumacher, Marvin Schumacher and sisters Millie Peppin, S. Theresa Schumacher, OSB; brothers-in-law Ronnie Peppin and Bob Sheridan; sisters-in-law Virginia Schumacher, Yvonne Schumacher and Carmela Schumacher.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Medina. A Gathering of family and friends was Thursday, from 10-11 AM prior to the Mass at the church. Inurnment was in Calvary Cemetery in Delano with a reception and lunch to follow at St. Joseph’s in Delano. Memorials preferred to local food shelf or charity of your choice.
