Karen L. Hickel age 66 of Delano died on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her home in Delano. She was born June 30, 1944 to Clarence and Viola (Scharvono) Nelson in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Karen is survived by her husband William; a daughter Shelly Baker; and sister Linda Nelson.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, Minnesota. Rev. Richard Flynn officiated at the services.
