Keith W. Nelson age 58 of Shakopee, formerly of Norwood died on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Shakopee, Minnesota. He was born July 1, 1952 to Adrian and Gladys (Salonek) Nelson in Watertown, Minnesota.

Keith was preceded in death by his father Adrian Nelson; a brother Scott Nelson; grandparents Thomas and Margaret Salonek, Martha and Fred Nelson; aunts and uncles Evelyn and Philmor Bjork, Pearl and John Williver, Buella and Bill Wilhite, Curtis Nelson, Clifford and Eleanor Nelson, Alice Nelson.

He is survived by his mother Gladys Nelson; siblings and spouses Dwight and Kathy Nelson, Bonnie Nelson, Bruce and Terry Nelson, Gary Nelson, Shelly and Jim Schultz, Jody and Darell Cermak, Brian Nelson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly, Minnesota. Rev. Timothy Cloutier officiated at the Mass with interment in the church cemetery. Casket bearers will be Dwight Nelson, Bruce Nelson, Bonnie Nelson, Shelly Schultz, Demetrius Carson, and Troy Wagener.
