On the morning of May 6, 2017 we regrettably lost Laurie Rae Hannan at age 58, sooner than anyone ever thought possible. She died peacefully in her home.

Laurie Rae was born to John and Lorraine (Smude) Sorum on November 26, 1958 in Buffalo, MN. She attended Buffalo High School and graduated class of 1977. She was united in marriage to Timothy John Hannan of Litchfield.

She was beloved by countless coworkers, past and present. She spent time working with companies such as MTS, Xerox, ThermoKing, and finished her career at CBRE Property Management.

Laurie was an energetic and vibrant force that positively affected all that knew her.
She spent her time helping many causes, gardening, walking, creating crocheted gifts, and spoiling her grandbabies rotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Tim; children Chris (Jessica) Hannan, Amy (D.J. Belden) Hannan, Timothy Hannan; grandchildren Myla, Wilder and Finian Hannan, Dallas, Delaina and Dakotah Belden; brother Brian Sorum; nephew Seth Sorum; and many other relatives and friends.

Inurnment was held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Loretto, MN. Gathering of family and friends followed the inurnment at 4007 Apache Dr., Hamel. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
