Linda Grant, age 82 of Chaska, passed away on September 17, 2024. She was born on November 24, 1941, to Gordon and Adelaide (Criswell) Grant in Tampa, Florida.
Linda grew up in Southern California, and spent summers with her father in Venice, Florida on his sailboat named the Whistling Cat. Attended University High School in Los Angeles, California, after High School she attended Art School. In addition to her love of Art she was an avid swimmer.

Linda married Stephen Vars in 1963 at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. In 1972 Linda, Steve, Kristen and Victoria moved to Minnesota.

Linda was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved to decorate a huge Christmas tree every year and loved to collect things. Hubcaps, marbles, keys and kaleidoscopes were among her favorites.
Everyone that knew Linda knows that she was a joy to be around and was always smiling.

She is preceded in death by her husband Stephen, son in law Micheal Craighead, her parents and sister Patty Grant.
Linda is survived by her daughters Kristen Craighead and Victoria (Richard) Henderson; grandchildren Kelsey (Ben) Stanford, Aimee (Quintin) Pletsch, Matthew (Shye) Henderson, Noah (Carly Willette) Henderson and Anna Henderson; great-grandchildren Marley Henderson and Liam Pletsch. Many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
