Lorraine Margaret Kittock, age 92 of Waverly, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Lake Ridge Nursing Home in Buffalo, Minnesota. She was born on July 23, 1932, in Waverly, MN to Thomas and Anne (Klingelhoets) Fitzpatrick. She attended and graduated from St. Mary’s School in Waverly in 1950.
Lorraine married Stanley Kittock on June 13th, 1953. They lived in Delano until 1958 when they moved to their home in Waverly. Lorraine was an amazing cook and well known for her goulash at all celebrations.
She was a stay-at-home mom and raised 10 children and in her later years she worked as a waitress at the Waverly Village Hall and Waverly Café.
She was a very giving person in many ways. She made many tie blankets for HLWW graduates, family, and friends. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. She loved and enjoyed crafting, attending grandkids and great-grandkids activities, and having many large family gatherings.
Lorraine is greeted in heaven by her husband Stanley; great-grandson Andrew Kittock; parents Tom and Anne Fitzpatrick; siblings Lucy (John) Gritz, Lavern (Vernon) Fadden; siblings-in-law Marilyn (Frank) Schmidt, Jerome (Betty) Kittock, Edward (Marilyn) Kittock, Barb (Tom) Deiderichs, Carmen Lenander, and Milton Kittock.
She is survived by her 10 children, Pat (Dawn), Kevin, Tim (Aimee), Keith, Colleen (Don) Ehrenberg, Maureen (Tom) Ogle, Chris (Judy), Jim (Christine), Mike (Jill), and Carey (Christina); 22 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren; siblings-in-law Mel Lenander, Janice Crum, and Sr. Lisa Kittock.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 29, 2025, with Fr. Lawrence Blake officiating, at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly, Minnesota. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8 PM, with a 7:30 PM prayer service on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, and continue from 9-10:30 AM Thursday prior to Mass, all at the church. Private family inurnment at a later date in the church cemetery.
