Lucas Matthew Rasset
2/20/2010
Lucas Matthew Rasset, “Luke” age 28 of Buffalo, formerly of Montrose died accidently. He was born October 17, 1981 to Michael and Janice (Scheuble) Rasset in Waconia, Minnesota.
Luke was full of life, he loved life and everything that came with it. He loved to go on motorcycle trips with his family, fishing, snowmobiling, spending time together. He loved softball, baseball, football, he loved life.
Luke’s family is proud of his many accomplishments, earning a Civil Engineering Degree and putting that degree to work, being in the employ of SRF Consulting Group, Inc. where Luke was working as an engineer.
Luke was kind and generous, always helping others, always with a big smile. We do not understand God’s will, but Luke’s work here on earth was done. His passing has left a huge hole in everyone’s life that he had touched. In death, Luke continued to give. He gave the gift of himself by being an organ and tissue donor; and as a result he lives on in those that he has helped. He will be remembered and loved by all who knew him, especially his family.
Luke was preceded in death by his uncles Melvin Scheuble, Dennis Rasset and Paul Lukach. He is survived by his parents Mike and Jan Rasset; brother and sister-in-law Jake and Meagan Rasset; 5 nieces and nephews Isaiah, Elijah, Lydia, Brenna, Annika; grandparents Marvin and Ellen Scheuble, Jay and Marie Rasset; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
