Luella H. Russek, age 94 of Delano passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. She was born on September 9, 1924 in St. Cloud to Joseph and Lena (Wheling) Rieland.

Luella was preceded in death by Clarence; twin sons John and Joseph; and grandson Michael Russek. She is survived by her children Dave (Rose) Russek, Jim (Karen) Russek, Mary Minske; 9 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and sister Viola Hardt.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano. Visitation was Friday, 4-8 PM with a 3:30 PM Rosary Service and continued Saturday, 10-10:45 AM prior to the Mass, ALL at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano. Interment was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Make a Wish Foundation or Donor’s choice.
