Marilyn Jean Landberg, age 87 of Delano, Minnesota, formerly of Crosby, Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born June 28, 1934 to Emanuel “Murphy” and Alice (Erickson) Olsen in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Marilyn attended and graduated from Edison High School. She went on to marry the loved of her life Jack Landberg and to this union 7 children were blessed.
Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to collect antiques, read recipe books and cook for her family. Her career was that of homemaker and she was an active member of Crosby Antiques and Collectibles for 30 years. She was very involved in her community and her church. She and Jack loved to travel and experience different cultures.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Jack; sons Richard, John and Mike. She is survived by her children Robert (Diane) Landberg, Krister Willette, Jodell “Jody” (Greg) Gustafson, Andrea (Barry) Anderson; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sisters Barbara Pearson, Annette Olson, Susan Mussell.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, St. Peter’s campus in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends took place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the Mass in St. Martha’s Hall of the St. Peter’s Campus. Inurnment will be in Bay Lake Cemetery in Deerwood, MN.
