Mary Ann Russel of Maple Lake, MN. entered the gates of heaven at the age of 79. Mary was a gentle, kind, loving person who loved fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Debbie (Steve) Tobako, Gregg Russel and Gary Russel. Adored by her five grandchildren: Jason (Nikki) Tobako, Shana (Chris) Balloy, Julie (Craig) Browen, Devin (Jessa) Russel and Derek Russel. Great grandchildren: Ethan, Jase, Gracie and Rylan Tobako; Dillon, Kira and Madden Browen; Carl and Lilly Balloy.

Mary was preceded in death by loving husband Robert William Russel; parents Nicholas and Catherine Kauth. Her courage and strength inspired those she touched and she will be deeply missed.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Delano, Minnesota. Rev. Michael Izen celebrated the Mass with interment in the Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Loretto, Minnesota.
