Michael D. Krueger, age 68 of St. Louis Park, formerly of Delano, passed away on November 15, 2017 at The Villa at St. Louis Park. He was born on July 18, 1949 in Watertown, Minnesota to Edward and Eleanor (Splettstoeszer) Krueger.

Mike married Carol Brown on July 9, 2000. Mike was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hope. He was a Past Commander of the Delano Legion Post #377. Mike loved fishing and enjoyed golfing, tennis, goose hunting, playing board games and cards.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Sandra; nephews Stephen and Eric Krueger. He is survived by his spouse of 17 years, Carol; step-daughter Kim (Jeff) Huberty; sister Darlene (Duane) Engelman; brothers Edward, Jr. “Norm”, Donald (Judy) and Stan Krueger; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano, Minnesota. Visitation was Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano and continued Wednesday 10-11 am, prior to service, in the church. Inurnment with Military honors by the Delano American Legion Post #377 at a later date will be in the East Mt. Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
