Mildred Ann Ganzel, age 93 of Maple Plain, died peacefully at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, MN July 1, 2018. Millie, her brothers and sisters grew up in Jesse Lake, MN. Millie moved to St Paul after high school and worked for Northwest Airlines for 5 years and while living there married Theodore Ganzel. She received her LPN license from Hennepin Technical College in 1971. She worked at Long Lake Nursing Home for 13 years. She served on her church’s mission board for many years. She and Ted raised five children.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband Ted; parents John and Agda; sisters Jane, Margit Brandt, Elsie Erickson, Elvie Anderson; brothers Paul, Theodore; grandchild Reid Allmaras and great-grandchild Max Ganzel. She is survived by children Rich (Rosie) Ganzel, Harvey (Gretchen) Ganzel, John Ganzel, Ginny (Mike) Strole and Dwayne (Nancy) Ganzel; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 with a Gathering of family and friends from 10-11 a.m. at the Maple Plain Community Church, 1815 Budd Ave N, Maple Plain, MN. Memorial donations may be made to Maple Plain Community Church Missions.
