Mildred Lorraine “Mickie” Countryman age 89 of Elk River passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Guardian Angel Health Care Center in Elk River, Minnesota. She was born January 3, 1925 to Clarence and Minnie (Manecke) Warne in Watertown, South Dakota.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Minnie Warne; husband Charles Countryman; siblings Dorothy Warne, Leo Warne, Raymond Warne, Clairice Morris.

Mildred is survived by her children Sandi Countryman, Donna (Ron) Freund, JoAnn Countryman; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Inurnment was in the West Mt. Olive Cemetery in Delano, Minnesota.
