Philip Anthony Doherty III, beloved father, husband, and friend, passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 62. Born on October 10, 1961, in Winchester, Massachusetts, Philip, affectionately known as Phil, was a man of unwavering perseverance and love.

Phil was married to Elizabeth Doherty on May 19, 1990. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with countless acts of love and kindness. Elizabeth, born on July 18, 1966, predeceased Phil, and both of their life stories remain a testament to their deep commitment to one another. They fell in love young and kept that flame of young love throughout their lives. Phil stood by Elizabeth’s side with unwavering support and compassion, especially during her battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis and other medical complications. For almost 5 years, Phil dedicated himself to caring for Elizabeth, easing her pains, calming her concerns, wiping away her tears, and tending to her wounds. His devotion to her was a true reflection of his character.

Phil and Elizabeth adopted their only child, Ryan Anthony Doherty, from one of Phil’s siblings. They embraced parenthood with open hearts and open arms, raising Ryan with boundless love and support. Both Phil and Elizabeth made their careers at Honeywell, where they found fulfillment and forged lasting friendships.

Phil’s love extended beyond his family to the many pets he cherished throughout his life. His home was always filled with the joy and warmth that pets bring, reflecting his kind and nurturing nature.
Phil is survived by his son, Ryan Anthony Doherty, who carries forward his father’s legacy of love, devotion, and honor.

Within the material extremes of this life, when it is purified, the Seed of the Spirit is at last found. May he rest in peace.
