Rae Rose Schliinz (Connaughton), age 76 of Delano, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born to William and Dorothy Connaughton on March 9, 1943 in Waverly.

Rae was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Connaughton; her son, Douglas Schliinz; her two sisters, Bev Benjamin and MaryAnn McHie; and her grandson Kipp Keating.

Rae is survived by her daughters Debbie Martinez and Dana Mueller (Matt); grandchildren, Amanda Keating, Ryan Mueller (Amanda), Andy Mueller (Karyn); great grandchildren, Lily, Leaonna, Paisley, Flora; and many loving friends and relatives.

Rae was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Family and friends brought her great joy and she spent most of her days filling hearts with love and laughter.

A memorial service celebrating her life was held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 235 2^nd St S, Delano, MN 55328.  A gathering of family and friends was Tuesday, from 9-11am prior to the service, in Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church. Inurnment was in the Lewis Cemetery in Maple Plain. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
