Ralph James Motzko “Butch”, age 77 of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was born on June 20, 1946, to George Sr. and Mary K (Farniok) Motzko in Watertown, Minnesota.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents; infant son Ralph James; siblings Georgia Blackketter, Arlene Schroeder, Thomas and Steven Motzko; and brothers-in-law Donald Blackketter and Arnie Lauer.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen “Kim” of 56 years; daughters Lisa Donahue, Lynn and Dennis “Chop” Yasger, Rose “Buffy” Motzko; and special friend Zane Niccum. 6 grandchildren: Jesse (Liz) Donahue, Sean (Katrina) Donahue, Brooke (Dylan) Williams, Sadie Yasger and special friend Samuel Koehler, Damon Niccum, Kailie Niccum and special friend Noah Eischens. 5 great grandchildren: Trent, Harper, Claire, and Grant Donahue; and Graham Williams; siblings Susie Lauer, Theresa (Pete) Schendel, George (Sandy) Motzko, Angie Motzko and many other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 AM on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown, Minnesota. A visitation was held from 9-11 AM prior to the Mass, all at the church. Interment was in the church cemetery. A luncheon followed the interment.
