Robert Dale Stroud age 60 of Montrose passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2009 with his family by his side. He was born December 3, 1948 to Kenneth and Virginia (Brown) Stroud in English, Indiana.

Robert was a longtime accountant for the Delano Municipal Utilities. He loved his family and was an important part of their lives. He loved God and showed God’s love by helping others. He enjoyed music and had a special place in his heart for his dog, Banjo.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Kenneth; siblings Franklin Stroud, Wanda Walkup, and Kenneth Stroud. He is survived by his mother Virginia Testerman; siblings and spouses Cleo and Judy Stroud, Betty Treadwell, Kevin Stroud; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Rockford, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends will be held for 1 hour prior to the services in the church on Saturday.
