Robert W.  Pool, “Bob” age 81 of Rockford passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016.  He was born July 25, 1934 to Robert Sr. and Rose (Stromberg) Pool in Independence, Minnesota.

Bob was a Farmer in the Maple Plain area for many years.  He later worked as a truck driver. He was a member of NFO.  Also an avid member of Specialty Bird Club.

Bob is survived by his wife Bonnie; mother of his children Lois Pool; children Bruce Pool, Doug (Sabrina) Pool, Darrell (Shelly) Pool, Cheryl (Vernon) Schlosser, Connie (Todd) Hanson; step-children Rick (Rebecca) Pedersen, Tammy (Dana) Vraspir; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Kermit Dietrich, Lola Pool, Joann Pool.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Lyndale Lutheran Church, 8012 County Road 6, Independence, MN.  Gathering of family and friends took place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
