Robert Winslow Sinkel age 70 of Delano passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2023, in his home.  He was born December 11, 1952, in Watertown, Minnesota to Winslow and Shirley (Metz) Sinkel.

Robert grew up in Delano and graduated from Delano High School in 1970.  He was blessed with a gift for music.  He was a self-taught musician in a variety of disciplines and ended up playing with several bands; however, his true gift was playing the guitar or mandolin which he continued for his entire life.  Robert’s true passion in life was the Lord and he spent his lifetime trying to seek Him deeper.

Robert was married to Judith Eggersgluss on January 5, 1995 in Buffalo, Minnesota.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Winslow and Shirley Sinkel.  He is survived by his best friend, Judy; children Chris (Susan) Wishcop, Elijah (Heather) Sinkel, Aaron (Caroline) Sinkel, Jesse (Nicole) Sinkel, Deanna Roehlke, Chris Roehlke; grandchildren Taryn, Samantha, Alex, Jake, Grace, Lucia, Ella, Hailey, Nakeyia, Shania, Preston, Nathan, Jonah; as well as several great grandchildren; siblings Tom Sinkel, Rick “Beaver” Sinkel, Susie (Terry) Stender; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Private Family services were held.  Interment in the Delano Public Cemetery.
