Ronald John Motzko, age 72 of Watertown, passed away on May 23, 2025, at this home. He was born on June 21, 1952, to James and Gibber Motzko in Watertown, Minnesota.

Ron established Motzko Well Drilling in 1979 and dedicated the next 45 years of his life to creating the family legacy.

Ron met Georgie, and they were wed on February 5, 1972. To this union, four children were blessed. They resided in rural Watertown in a house they built together, until Georgie passed away in 2019.

He is preceded in death by his wife Georgiana; grandchildren Caleb Motzko and Austin Kurtz; brother-in-law Kenny Leuthner. He is survived by his children Rodney (Jessie) Motzko, Heidi (Chad) Harwood, Jason (Dawn) Motzko, and Robby (Kendra) Motzko; 9 grandchildren Zach Harwood, Cody Harwood, Nate Harwood, Claire Motzko, Madelyn Motzko, Avery Motzko, Brody Motzko, Evan Motzko, and Owen Motzko; 2 great-grandchildren Adysen Pettit, Silas Stoldt, with two on the way; siblings Bev Leuthner, Nancy (Jerry) Fiecke, Jimmy Motzko, Timmy (Judy) Motzko, and Debbie (Joe) Mauk; siblings in law siblings Roxy (Ed) Holtz, Mary (Greg) Moen, Pammy Nguyen, Tommy (Sandy) Grossinger, Doug (Cathy) Grossinger, Rita Grossinger (special friend Ken).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at St. Mary’s of Czestochowa Catholic Church in rural Delano, Minnesota. A visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Friday, May 2025, and continue from 10-11 AM Saturday prior to Mass, all at the church. Interment in the church cemetery.
