Ruth Marie Russek, age 97 of Delano, passed away on December 17, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 25, 1919 in Delano, Minnesota to Thomas and Marie (Halubuzok) Lebovsky.

Ruth married Arthur Russek. She was a homemaker and the family business bookkeeper. Ruth was active in the American Legion Post #377 Auxillary (Past President) and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Arthur and a son Richard. She is survived by her children Bob (Shelley), Carol and Donald; 3 grandchildren Sean (Aimee), Ryan and Jamieson; 4 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano. Visitation was from 9:30-11 AM Wednesday prior to the Mass at the church. Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Delano.
