Savino "Bud" Ranallo

Savino “Bud” Ranallo, 93, passed away on November 17th, 2022. He was born on December 10, 1928, to Anthony and Laura (Donatelle) Ranallo in Cumberland, Wisconsin.
Bud was a Tool and Die Maker who spent his career at Honeywell where he met his wife, Genevieve. Bud and Gen were married in 1951, started their family in the Kenwood neighborhood, and moved to Loretto, MN in 1961. They had eleven children and were active in the church of Ss. Peter and Paul in Loretto.
Later in life, Bud met his long-time companion, Betty Kamps. Bud and Betty were very active dancers, golfers and always had a full social calendar. Bud found comfort and support from his community of friends, neighbors and family. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Genevieve; siblings, Art Ranallo and Irene Bendon. Survived by his eleven children: Savino Jr. (Teresa), Kathy, Paul, David (Reenay), Steve (Jinny), Mary (Dean), Mike (Monica), Vickie (Tony), Peter, Toni, Patti (Troy); 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters Betty Ranallo and Gloria Kelner and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, Minnesota on Saturday December 3rd, 11 am with reviewal an hour prior to Mass. Visitation took place on Friday, December 2nd from 4-8 pm at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, Minnesota. Interment with military honors was in the Ss Peter and Paul cemetery.
Savino was a veteran of the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VFW Post 5555, Richfield, Minnesota.
