Sandra Kespohl of Delano, formerly Montrose and Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, one day after her 80th birthday. A woman of strong faith in the Lord, Sandy was generous, caring, brave, and sassy with a good sense of humor. Guests to her home always felt warmly welcomed and were treated to her art of storytelling. Sandy is survived by her daughter, Mindy Kespohl (Rick Sandin), and grandchildren Andrew “Kasey” Knoth, and Paul Knoth. She was loved and will be missed by “her people” – her close family, friends and neighbors. Private family services were held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
