Stanley Nicholas Kittock, age 80 of Waverly, Minnesota; passed away peacefully on April 17, 2011at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital. Greeted in heaven by parents, Nicholas and Francis Kittock and brothers and sisters: Milton “Pete”, and Jerome; Barb (Dederichs), Marilyn (Schmidt); sister-in-laws Betty (Jerome) & Marilyn (Ed). Mother and Father-in-law: Thomas and Anne Fitzpatrick. Sisters and brothers-in-law: Lavern “Turnie” & Vernon Fadden, Lucille and John Gritz. Father-in-law John VanBeusekom.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lorraine & 8 sons: Pat (Dawn), Kevin, Tim (Aimee), Keith, Chris (Judy), Jim (Christine), Mike (Jill), Carey (Christina) and 2 daughters: Colleen (Don) Ehrenberg and Maureen (Tom) Ogle. 22 grandchildren: Jason, Brian, Cassandra, Katie, Nick, Jeremy, Carter, Rachael, Brad, Keegan, Bridget, Ben, Ryan, Kieran, Eryn, Sam, Alec, Joey, Mikayla, Max, Connor & TJ (Tom); 2 great-grandchildren: Payton and Christian. He is also survived by siblings: Carmen (Mel) Lenander, Janice Crum, Sister Lisa and Ed. Brothers-in-law: Thomas Dederichs and Frank Schmidt.

Stanley was born on June 26, 1930 in Watertown, Minnesota. He graduated from Delano High School in 1948. He was a machinist at Honeywell for 35 years, retiring in 1991. He married Lorraine Fitzpatrick on June 13, 1953. They lived in Delano until 1958, when they moved to their present home in Waverly. He was a faithful member of the St. Mary”s Catholic Church in Waverly. After he retired, he enjoyed babysitting his grandchildren, spending time with family, feeding and watching the birds, watching the Twins and Vikings on TV, and riding around town on his scooter.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Mary”s Catholic Church in Waverly. Private interment will take place at a later date. Rev. Timothy Cloutier celebrated the Mass.
