Susan Ann Brenner age 65 of Delano passed away April 6, 2014. She was born in Glencoe, Minnesota to Herbert and Viola (Graunke) Bartels.
Susan was a 1966 graduate of Delano High School. She was employed by the MN Department of Transportation for 27 years. She loved to go to Cancun and spend time at the cabin. Susan enjoyed reading and surfing the internet. She was proud of being a terrible cook, gave the best guidance you could ask for, and was a go-to person.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Viola Bartels, nephew Kevin Jopp, and brothers-in-law Donald Brenner, Bob Jopp, and Al Siegel.
Susan is survived by her loving husband Dick; children Kelly (Paul) Grinnell, Nicole (John) Schmidt, and Joe; grandchildren Jessica, Katie, Colleen, Jade, Johnny, and Sally; brother Larry (Lynn) Bartels; sisters-in-law Joanne Siegel, Kathy Jopp, and Lori (Mike) Foy; nieces and nephews Bobby Jopp, Brian (Marnie) Jopp, Jeff Siegel, David Brenner, James Stephens, Darrell Stephens, Kent Bartels, and Marissa Bartels.
A Memorial Service was held Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 5 PM at Light of Christ Church, Delano. Gathering was Thursday, from 3 to 5 PM at the church prior to services.
