Tamara Elizabeth (Vergin) Schellenberg, “Tammy” age 53 of Rockford passed away in her sleep on Saturday, March 27, 2021. She was born January 2, 1968 to Lloyd and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Vergin in Buffalo, Minnesota.
Tammy was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She graduated from Rockford High School in 1986 and made her career as a care attendant working in nursing homes. She loved to care for people, especially family members.
Tammy loved to fish. She was an accomplished cook and found joy in making things for family. She was so loved and will be missed.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Vergin. She is survived by her children Jennifer Schellenberg, Jaclyn Hemingsen, Mark Schellenberg; grandchildren Duncan and Blake; mother Elizabeth Vergin; siblings Valerie (Jerry) Weyer, Vance (Laurie) Vergin, Reinhold (Sharon) Vergin, Jeff (Shelley) Vergin, Veronica (Steve) Olson, Vicky (Dave) Knecht, Sandy (Travis) Kramer, Cheri (Darryl) Gullickson, Stacie (Jeff) Beyer; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service was held on Friday, April 9th at 11 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, St. Peter campus in Delano, Minnesota. Inurnment immediately followed the service in Elmwood Cemetery in Rockford, Minnesota.
