Vernon Edward Fautsch, age 79 of Watertown passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013.
He was born October 15, 1933 to George and Margaret (Decker) Fautsch in Franklin Township, rural Delano Minnesota.

Vernon was an employee of Millerbernd Manufacturing in Winsted for 41 years. He loved to fish, hunt, and do woodworking and gardening. He was known to be able to fix anything and enjoyed doing so for others. Time spent outside was a priority; whether it was tending his garden or fishing in his boat or off the dock at the cabin.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret Fautsch; sisters Lorraine Zabel, Arlene Klick and Dorothy Meuleners; brother Raymond Fautsch; brothers-in-law Everett Zabel, Clarence Klick, Dean Edlund and Cyril Meuleners.

Vernon is survived by his wife of 60 years, VerDella (Carlson); children Mark (Stephanie) Fautsch, Craig (Jackie) Fautsch; 6 grandsons: Nick (JoLynn) Fautsch, Derek Fautsch, Dr. Drew Fautsch, Christopher Fautsch and fiancé Samantha Webster, Matthew Fautsch and fiancé Julia Twardy, Tony Fautsch; 2 step-grandchildren: Breanna Fautsch and Nick Lucente; 3 great grandchildren: Lacie, Reed and Mason; sisters-in-law Elmorina Fautsch and Lois Edlund.

Memorial services were held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown, Minnesota.
