They raised three children west of St. Paul. Family and faith were Virgil’s top priorities. His other passions were hunting, fishing, wood-working, golf, watching the Minnesota Twins and traveling with his bride. His grandchildren became his pots of gold so any time with them was precious.
Virg and Barb retired to Bradenton, FL. where they were able to relax and enjoy life! Many friendships were built, and golf rounds were played. He was so very happy when his children and grandchildren visited them, which was often.
Virgil devoted his life to the service of his family and friends. He made a lasting impression on us all. He taught his family to work hard, take care of what you worked for, appreciate life and to take care of each other. His grandchildren are proof since each of them have the same values.
