William P. (Bill) Koch, age 86, a lifelong resident of Maple Plain. He was born July 2, 1928 on the family farm where he died Feb. 1, 2015.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents William and Lucy (Thomas) Koch, sisters Del Miller and Bernie Cox. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Lorraine; sons Tom (Sina) and Tim (Betsy); grandchildren Kyle (fiancée Kim), Carmen, Matthew, and Camille; sister Lucille Lins.
Bill graduated from Mound H.S. in 1946. He proudly served in Korea. Bill loved many activities such as farming, gardening, wood carving, birding, playing cards. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Loretto, MN. Interment with Military Honors by Delano American Legion Post #377 was in the church cemetery.
