Joan Ellen Grosshans, “Joni” age 52 of Delano passed away on July 30, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born February 1, 1963 to Richard and Irene (Whittaker) Gelhaye of Mound, Minnesota.

Joni was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Irene Gelhaye. She is survived by her husband Brian; children Josh (Whitney) Hoogland, Jason (Allie) Hoogland, Jennifer Hoogland; grandchildren Wyatt Hoogland and Alex Hoogland; siblings Bonnie (Jeff) Paasch, Gary (Rhonda) Gelhaye, Susan (Brad) Baker, Nancy (Jay) Mittelstaedt, Kevin (Chris) Gelhaye, Kate (Terry) Schug; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at 7 p.m. on August 7, 2015 at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano, Minnesota. Gathering of family and friends took place from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
