Norma L. Leaf, age 91 of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Elim Home in Watertown, Minnesota. She was born on August 26, 1925 in Minnetrista Township, Hennepin County, Minnesota to Arthur and Lydia (Dressel) Bauer.

Norma was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Watertown by Pastor Karl Rudolph. She attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School for 8 years and graduated in 1943 from Mound High School. After high school, Norma worked as a secretary for Gamble-Skogmo in Minneapolis and after marriage, for Dr. Pogue in Watertown.

Norma was united in marriage to Emery J. Leaf on November 12, 1947 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano. They moved from the country into the city of Watertown in 2004. They were members at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown. Norma was also a member of the Watertown Red Hats and card club. Norma touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed by all.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Emery; son Perry; parents and brother Roy Bauer. She is survived by children JoAnn (Gerald) Bundrock, Jane (Bob) Skinner, Mark (Becky) Leaf, Todd (Lori) Leaf; grandchildren Heather (Dean) Bartosch, Heidi Roskowiak, Michael (Katie) Bundrock, Michelle (Jim) Graff, Holly (Adam) Emmings, Chelsea (Travis) Farniok, Natalie (Eric) Sundby, Nathan Leaf, Beau Leaf, Quin Leaf, Jett Leaf, Cody Painschab, Brandon Leaf, Brooke Leaf, Ben Leaf, Brett Leaf, and Acsia Leaf; 19 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown. A gathering of family and friends was on Friday, from10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Inurnment was in the church cemetery.
