Tracy John Bogema (T.J.) Passed away peacefully in his home on May 31st, 2018 at the age of 60.
T.J. was born on November 7th, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN to Delbert and Priscilla (Denike) Bogema.
He graduated from Watertown-Mayer High School in 1976. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served until 1982 during which he received the AF Longevity Service Award, AF Outstanding Unit Award and the AF Good Conduct Medal.
On July 13th, 1985 he married Deb Richter in Robinsdale, MN. T.J. was employed as an Estimator at Versatil Associates in Chanhassen, MN, a family business.
He enjoyed traveling across the country in his motorhome as well as fishing and camping with his family. He had an interest in airplanes and loved to go watch them and share his knowledge of them. He loved taking photos and spending time with his grandchildren.
T.J. is survived by his wife, Deb and his six children;
Jennifer and Jamie Jopp of Watertown, MN, Jason and Monica Bogema of Mayer, MN, Matt and Sarah Bogema of Winsted, MN, Jessica and Jeremy Baumann of Delano, MN, Shaunna Kane of Watertown, MN, Andrew Bogema of Watertown, MN.
Nine grandchildren; Makayla, Hailey, Jayden Bogema, Leslie Bogema, Olivia, Ella, Sophia, Tanner Baumann, Austin Kane
His brothers Todd and Jean Bogema of Excelsior, MN, Blake Bogema of Excelsior, MN. His sister Becky and Dave Hayden of Waconia, MN and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Priscilla Bogema, his brother Steve Bogema, his parents in law Donald and Gilma Richter and two brothers in law Donald Richter Jr. and Kevin Richter.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at B’s on the River. A private family service followed.
