Wesley Earl Palmer “Wes”, age 73 of Rockford, Minnesota went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was born on August 4, 1948 to Winton and Lydia (Melin) Palmer in Amery, Wisconsin.

Wes was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He lived the life of a servant; ate and lived the word of God. The Spirit guided him to create over 400 psalms. The Spirit led Wes daily through life’s struggles.

Wes met and married the love of his life Gay at church. They would have celebrated 48 years of marriage next week on September 29, 2021.

Wes was preceded in death by his parents Winton and Lydia; brother Donovan; and granddaughter Mya Simone Bayoumy. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Gay; children Jason Palmer, Derek Palmer, and Rachel Palmer (Tamer Bayoumy); grandchildren PFC Samuel, Madalyn, Benjamin, Ava, and Jasmine Palmer; brothers John (Linda), Roger (Cindy), Mark, James, and Gregg (Clarice) Palmer; sisters Mary (Mark) Gotsch, and Sally Miller; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Riverwood Covenant Church in Rockford. A gathering of family and friends was Saturday, from 10-11 AM prior to the service, at the church.
