John Warren Lundquist age 69 of Delano, passed away on November 5, 2025. He was born on
December 4, 1955, to Warren and Jeannette (Carlson) Lundquist in Aitkin, Minnesota.

He graduated from Park Center High School in 1973.

He worked as a Tech in the printed circuits industry, and retired in 2019.

He met his wife Carol [Rath] of 44 years at work. They had 3 children together, Andrew, James and Matthew. He is preceded in death by his son Andrew, and his parents Warren {Ernie} and Jeanette.

He and his wife and later his sons enjoyed fishing and camping, he was an avid fisherman and passed his love of fishing on to his sons, Andrew and James, not so much for Matthew but not for a lack of trying on his part. He loved family gatherings; he liked baseball and watching his sons play soccer and baseball. He liked reading books. He worked diligently to provide for his family. He had a great sense of humor,and always had a witty word to say. He loved his siblings, and in- laws, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. {and yes he loved his mother in law.} He knew Jesus as his Savior and Lord and so his new home is Heaven, where we will meet up with him again.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Westpointe Church in Delano, Minnesota. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior from 4-6 PM. Inurnment at a later date in Delano Public Cemetery, Delano, MN.
