John F. Dolder age 92 of Delano, passed away October 18, 2014. He was born October 25, 1921 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John and Gladys (Boone) Dolder. He was a WWII Vet; serving in the U.S. Army and a member of the Zuhrah Shriners Masons.
John was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, brothers Arthur and William Dolder and granddaughter infant Dalbec.
He is survived by his children Gloria (Tim) Dalbec, Kathy (David) Vincent and John (Adele) Dolder; 8 grandchildren Rosalind Albiso, Angela (Art) Hyde, Todd (Jodi) Dalbec, Sarah (Jason) Vieau, Matthew (Jocelyn) Vincent, Jason Dolder, Brandon Dolder and Darren Dolder; 9 great grandchildren Awston, Cassandra, Paige, Trevor, Skyla, Dylan, Asher, Colton and Emmersyn; sister Betty Mealhouse.
Funeral Service was 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Delano United Methodist Church. Visitation was 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church prior to the service. Interment with Military Honors was in the Delano Public Cemetery.
