Lois V. Pool, age 82 of Plymouth, formerly of Maple Plain, passed away on June 5, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 18, 1934 in Burritt Township, Illinois to Wilfred and Margaret (Whiteside) Cox.

Lois was a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother. “She is as sweet as her cookies”; you never left her home hungry. She was a hard working farm wife. She worked at and retired from Target in Minnetonka.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; sister Barbara Cox; sister-in-law Donna Cox; nephews Rodney and Danny Cox; great niece Rebecca Winkler; and father of her children Robert Pool. She is survived by her children Bruce, Douglas (Sabrina), Darrell (Shelly), Cheryl (Vernon) Schlosser, Connie (Todd) Hanson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Bill (Barbara) Cox, Charles Cox.

Memorial Service was held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Village Ev. Free Church, Independence. Gathering of family and friends took place on Saturday, from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the church. Inurnment was in Lewis Cemetery, Maple Plain.
