Roger Arnold Wendorff was born on February 15, 1943 in Owatonna, Minnesota. He was the son of Elmer and Helen (Milbrett) Wendorff. He was a graduate of Buffalo Lake High School Class of 1961. He worked at Glencoe Manufacturing, LoManCO, and Industrial Louvers upon his retirement in 2005.

On May 26, 1989, Roger was united in marriage to Jeannete Johnson at the courthouse in Buffalo, MN. They enjoyed many camping trips together with friends and family.

Roger enjoyed fishing (especially his trips to Canada), bowling, playing cards, and working in the garage. He was a huge fan of the MN Vikings, Lynx, and Gophers football and basketball.

Roger passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at his home in Delano at the age of 82.

Roger is survived by his wife Jeannette, and son Jay (Rose) Wendorff of Brownton, MN; siblings Carol (Bruce) Kottom of Buffalo, MN, Judy (Lenny) Bryant of Hutchinson, MN; sisters-in-law Jody (Marion) Limbacher of Annapolis, MD, Susan (Dallas) Muchow of Watertown, MN; 3 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Roger is preceded in death by his son Allen Wendorff, granddaughter Alyssa Boughton; parents Elmer and Helen Wendorff; brothers Gerald, Jim, and Tom Wendorff.

Roger requested that there be no funeral service or gathering and his family will honor his wishes.
