Ronald G. Harter passed away December 25, 2016. He was 79 years old, born in Waterloo, Iowa.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents George and Lois (Sime) Harter. He is survived by his wife Marilyn; son Craig; daughter Christine (Joe) Buschel and one special granddaughter Angelina; sisters Mary Kaye Hunt, Georgiana (David) Perez; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ron worked for many years in the Mechanical Engineers and Contractors Field. He retired in 1999 from Yale Inc. as Vice President of their service department.

Ron loved his family and wife Marilyn. He loved to read world history. Always loved a good debate over politics; loved to fish, hunt, motor cycling, camping out on many trips and his red Mazda convertible.

He will be greatly missed.

Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Delano United Methodist Church, 3310 County Line Road, Delano. A gathering of family and friends was from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Inurnment with Military Honors will be at a later date in Kreidler Cemetery, Montrose.
