Virginia M Teas, age 93 of Delano passed away on January 2, 2020. She was born in Waconia, MN on March 30, 1926 to Barbara and Maurice Leuthner. She was the second oldest of six children. Ginny, as she was called, was married to Claude Teas for 65 years, residing most of her life in Delano, MN. She had six children who were her love and joy.

Ginny enjoyed traveling with her family to Oregon, California, Caribbean and Europe. She was an avid and talented seamstress and baker.
Ginny was a loving, caring person and mother who cared deeply and gave of herself to others. We will always remember her with the most heartfelt love, for she was truly one of God’s angels.

Virginia Teas was preceded in death by her parents Barbara and Maurice Leuthner, husband Claude, son-in-law Bob, and grandson Thomas. She is survived by her children; Pat (Tim) Stelter, June (Tom) Berlinger, Mike Teas, Dave (Sylvia) Teas, Mary Macko and Amy Feist. Grandchildren; Lisa, Chris, Michael, Austin, Ryan, David, Teresa, Ashley, Ellie, Noah, Jared, Anna and Rachel. Great-grandchildren; Lila, Mallory, Miriam, Peter, Susanna, Maddie, Isabel, Sunna, Peyton, Riley, Kyra and Maddie. Siblings; Dorothy (Clarence) Kelzer, Morrie (Alice) Leuthner, Rita Peterson, Carol (Tony) Weinzeril and Roger (Marge) Leuthner.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 217 S. Second St., Delano. Visitation was Monday, 5-8 PM with a 4:30 PM Rosary at Martha’s Hall of St. Peter Catholic Church. Visitation continued Tuesday 10-11 AM prior to the Mass at Martha’s Hall. Interment will be Wednesday, 9:15 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at Assembly Lane 5.
