Suellen Budd, age 71 of Maple Plain, formerly of Aitkin, passed away January 18, 2016 at Haven Homes in Maple Plain. She was born on November 25, 1944 in Van Nuys, California to Chester and Helen (Luedtke) Krause. Suellen married John P. Budd in 1967. They resided in Maple Plain. Sue worked at the Orono school district for many years as a sub cook. After retirement, they moved to Aitkin where Suellen helped John with his scrap recycling business, JB Cats. Suellen loved fishing, sewing, cooking and garage saleing. Suellen was preceded in death by her husband John and parents. She is survived by her children Matt, Steve (Gail), Julie Rehbein (Brett); grandchildren Tori, Taylor, Jack, Brooklyn, Charlie; sisters Lois (Rich) George, Renee (John) Mullen, Jane (Terry) Hanson. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Loretto. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Iten Funeral Chapel, Delano. Visitation continued Tuesday, 10-11 a.m. prior to the Mass at church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
